Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in der Weihnachtszeit hier! Die Aussicht war wunderbar und sehr sonnig – das Hotel lag über den Wolken – was Interlaken und alles unten sehr neblig machte. Unsere Kinder (2 und 4 Jahre) liebten das Schwimmbad und kümmerten sich überhaupt nicht um die Wassertemperatur, denn uns war es nicht kalt. Bei Bedarf gibt es im Schwimmbadbereich auch eine Sauna zum Aufwärmen. Auch unsere Erfahrung im Restaurant war fantastisch! Das Essen war wirklich gut, das Personal sehr freundlich und die Kinder waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Zeichenmaterial, das es im Restaurant gab. Das Frühstück verdient auch eine Bemerkung, denn es war wirklich gut! Unsere Kinder haben viel Energie und es ist nicht einfach, ein gutes Hotel für ihren Aufenthalt zu finden. Aber ich muss sagen, das war bisher unser bester Aufenthalt mit den Kindern – alle lieben es.
Es war eine fantastische Erfahrung. Wir waren Mitte Dezember fast eine Woche dort. Die Aussicht direkt von den Zimmern aus war einfach atemberaubend. Bin ich tot und sehe das Paradies? Die Berge vor dem Hotel, auf der anderen Seite eines Sees – man sieht sie jeden Morgen nach dem Aufwachen und dann beim Frühstück, während man darauf wartet, dass die Sonne ihre Farben von tiefem Blau zu glänzendem Gold ändert ... Es ist unmöglich, dieses Maß an Schönheit mit Worten zu beschreiben. Und das Personal tat alles, damit wir uns wie zu Hause fühlten, und sogar noch besser. Echte Schweizer Gastfreundschaft kombiniert mit höchstem Serviceniveau. Extreme Sauberkeit. Leckeres Essen. In meiner persönlichen Bewertung ist es das beste Schweizer Hotel überhaupt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

We stayed here with my partner from 12–15 February, arriving via Zurich and driving about two hours to the hotel — already a scenic introduction to the region. We were lucky to receive a top-floor apartment facing both the lake and the mountains. The panoramic view alone feels like part of the experience, especially at sunrise and sunset. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and fully equipped — it genuinely felt more like a comfortable alpine home than a hotel room. The breakfast exceeded expectations. Although the hotel is rated four stars, the quality and variety were clearly closer to five-star standard. The restaurant also offers stunning mountain views, which makes even a simple morning coffee memorable. The spa area deserves special mention — it is far better than the photos suggest. The pool is large, and the wellness facilities include a bio sauna, steam sauna, Finnish sauna and cold plunge tub. Towels, slippers and bathrobes are all provided, making the whole experience very smooth and relaxing. Parking is extremely convenient in the private underground garage, with elevator access directly to the floors. The bar area is cozy and atmospheric in the evenings. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Nearby Interlaken is only a short drive away (with Lidl and Aldi available), while Grindelwald is about 45 minutes by car — perfect for skiing or sledding. A very useful bonus: the ski lift ticket also includes the local train transport. Overall: a relaxing mountain retreat with exceptional views, strong wellness facilities and comfort above its category. We would definitely return.
