Balmers Hostel — Hauptstrasse 23, 3800 Matten bei Interlaken, Switzerland

Mir gefielen die Lage und die Aufteilung des Ortes. Es ist wirklich wie ein eigenes kleines Dorf. Der einzige Grund, warum es vier Sterne bekommt, ist, dass es in den Zimmern an Dingen mangelt, die ich gerne gesehen hätte, wie Sichtschutzvorhängen an den Betten und funktionierenden Ladeanschlüssen (wir hatten einige Probleme damit, dass unsere nicht funktionierten). Ansonsten haben wir unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Das Personal war hilfsbereit und es gibt einen Club im Keller, der samstags nur für Gäste geöffnet ist und einen Besuch wert ist.

Eine sehr freundliche Herberge und das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Es gibt auch tägliche Aktivitäten für die Gäste jeden Abend.

Dies war bei weitem das größte Hostel mit den meisten Aktivitäten als jedes andere Hostel, in dem ich jemals auf der Welt übernachtet habe. Amazing hostel, starting from check-in everyone who works there is super friendly and welcoming. The rooms and showers are great, always with hot water and no issues at all, and everything is kept very clean. There are lots of cozy common areas where you really feel at home, plus a huge garden. They also have a bar inside the hostel and an underground nightclub. Several days a week they organize activities so guests can have fun and get to know each other. Without a doubt, an incredible experience I highly recommend it! Many thanks to the Balmer’s team, which is truly what makes this place stand out!

It's a spectacular, welcoming hostel. The staff takes care to organize activities so that guests can get to know each other and interact. Absolute hygiene. Lots of bathrooms, all clean, comfortable beds, and a fairly spacious closet for storing luggage. Special thanks to Wilmer in the kitchen, Darío at the front desk, and Iván at the bar and ice skating rink. The staff definitely makes the difference. The best hostel I've ever stayed at, and I would happily return.

Balmers was awesome. if you want to meet tons of people from all over this is the place. Everyone, from the staff to the guests, were extremely friendly, social, and welcoming. The staff were some of the bests people ive ever met. Ivan was so amazing. They offer activities to go on which makes it easy to meet people and get the most out of your trip. it was one of the nicest, cleanest, well maintained hostel ive been to. Its worth the price. They have a club, bars, great outside area, close to a ton of great restaurants, great mountain view, easy walk to train station, and a coffee machine (necessary). loved this place and miss it everyday. also the Indian food in the area is top notch.
