Hotel Elmer ist wunderbar! Stefan war ein so freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Auch das restliche Personal war erstklassig! Das Frühstück war köstlich, die Zimmer waren sehr komfortabel, die Sauna war ein toller Bonus und die Aussicht vom Hotel ist atemberaubend. Wir haben auch ein tolles Abendessen im Restaurant genossen. Ich kann das Hotel Elmer wärmstens empfehlen und hoffe, bald wieder zurück zu sein!
Rezeption und Layout leicht zugänglich. Für das Gepäck gibt es einen Aufzug. Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien mit weitem Ausblick. Reichlich im schweizerisch dekorierten und sonnigen Essbereich. Die Zimmer sind äußerst sauber und verfügen über Hartholzböden und Schieferbadezimmer. Das Zimmer bietet einen hervorragenden Blick auf die Berge.
Angenehmer Aufenthalt. Die Sauna war eine nette Geste. Der Besitzer war beim Check-in und Check-out, auch beim Frühstück, vor Ort und fragte, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Es fühlte sich stilvoll, gemütlich und komfortabel an.
What a lovely hotel!!! Warm and very helpful staff, delicious breakfast (home made apricot jam soooo good!) and an amazing sauna on the top floor with views over the surrounding peaks. Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended! Ian
Switzerland is so humbling. Where else can you enjoy a simple lunch with such an amazing view?! From the front entrance I had no idea I would then walk out to the most amazing back terrace. The service was friendly and prompt. I absolutely loved my meal. The Siedfleisch Salat with cheese was so tasty. I love that salads are a full meal here. Would definitely recommend this place for hikers doing the Via Alpina as a place to get a cold drink, nice meal, and enjoy the view of your accomplishments!
Although I did not stay here, the service by the front desk attendant, an older Swiss gentleman, on the afternoon of Sunday August 18, 2024 was impeccable. He answered my questions about the Via Alpina Trail, translated the dinner menu, and even offered to let me know dinner was not served until after 6 pm. Thank you for your great customer service. When I come back to Elm, I would have no hesitation staying at the property, if his attentiveness is any indication of the quality of the overall hotel. Also, the location is wonderful if you are hiking the Via Alpina and need an early start to get to Linthal. Thank you!
