Ich habe das Restaurant Rossmoos eher zufällig entdeckt – obwohl ich nicht weit entfernt wohne – und war positiv überrascht. Die Kellnerin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, sodass man sich sofort willkommen fühlte. Was mir besonders auffiel, war die liebevolle Art und Weise, wie das Essen zubereitet und serviert wird. Jeder Teller wird mit großer Sorgfalt und Liebe zum Detail zubereitet – etwas, das man nicht überall sieht. Schon beim Servieren merkt man, wie viel Wert auf Qualität und eine persönliche Note gelegt wird. Das Essen war köstlich, frisch und wunderschön präsentiert. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut, ist fair und angemessen für das, was man bekommt. Das Restaurant ist klein und gemütlich, nicht überfüllt und angenehm ruhig – genau richtig für ein entspanntes Essen. Ein wirklich schöner Fund – ich komme gerne wieder! 🍽️😊

Rossmoos is a small but excellent, popular restaurant in Emmen. The portions are generous and the dishes are of high quality. It's rather expensive, but I'm happy to overlook that because everything else is just right.

I would never go there again. On a warm, sunny April day in 2025, the owner was too lazy to let us onto the lovely terrace. Two of the five of us ordered a salad. It was inedible, with a few brown leaves. We complained, but they completely ignored us. Not even a coffee as an apology. The five of us certainly won't be coming back.

The restaurant near Emmen's sports fields offers excellent, down-to-earth cuisine. For me, the various Cordon Bleu dishes are the highlight. Whether spicy with chili, rustic with bacon and mountain cheese, or traditional with Buurehamme and Gruyère, raclette, or Appenzeller, you're sure to find one that's delicious. Mili, the owner, has been running the restaurant independently for years; before that, she was the general manager. She's a warm-hearted person who listens to her guests' little worries, and she has a wit, sense of humor, and a hearty laugh. I'll definitely go back.
