Fazit: Nachdem eine Ölheizung 3-4 Mal im Winter ausfiel, habe ich mich leider dazu entschlossen, meine Sanitäranlagen auf eine Wärmepumpe der Weishaupt AG umzurüsten (schließlich handelt es sich um ein Montagsmodell). Ich wusste, dass es mehr Strom verbrauchen würde. Nach einem milden Winter habe ich nichts Großes bemerkt (logischerweise wäre die Stromrechnung höher). Doch als ich im folgenden Winter 250 % mehr Strom verbrauchte (es geht um den tatsächlichen Verbrauch), wurde ich misstrauisch. Es stellte sich heraus, dass das falsche Schütz eingebaut war (Öffner statt Öffner) und die Heizungsanlage somit ständig im „Notbetrieb“ lief, also überwiegend mit Strom betrieben wurde. Die Weishaupt AG sagte, man werde die Sache prüfen und eine Lösung finden. Die Lösung war eine E-Mail (nicht einmal ein Anruf), in der stand, dass jemand das Gerät ausgetauscht haben muss. Verzeihung? Das macht keinen Sinn. Ich hatte unnötige Stromkosten von über CHF 4'000. Zudem kostete die Endkontrolle, die solche Fehler ausschließen sollte, 1000 Franken. Also habe ich für etwas bezahlt, das nicht richtig gemacht wurde. Rechtlich muss ich beweisen, dass das Schütz nicht ausgetauscht wurde. Das kann ich natürlich nicht. Auch wenn dem Elektriker ein Fehler unterlaufen sein sollte (dies ist im Schaltplan nicht deutlich zu erkennen), ist Weishaupt dafür verantwortlich, dass alles funktioniert. Für eine Endkontrolle habe ich 1000 Franken ausgegeben. Ich finde es nicht richtig, dass mir als geschädigter Kunde keine Lösung, nicht einmal ein Kompromiss angeboten wird. Ich bin ein langjähriger Kunde; Meine Eltern und mein Bruder (alle Hausbesitzer) sind ebenfalls langjährige Kunden. Das wird sich ändern. Der Hype um Wärmepumpen ist dem Unternehmen definitiv zu Kopf gestiegen. Was mich darüber hinaus am meisten nervt, ist, dass ich mehrere Stunden in die Fehlerbehebung, das Zusammenstellen von Unterlagen von AEW sowie Telefonate und E-Mails mit dem Elektriker und der Weishaupt AG investiert habe. Leider kann ich die Firma nicht empfehlen. Das einzig Positive war, dass der Techniker sehr freundlich war. Aber er hat keine Entscheidungsbefugnis und im schlimmsten Fall wird der Kunde alles als selbstverständlich ansehen.

Die Wärmepumpe war der größte Fehler! Sobald das Ding installiert ist, ist der Kunde mit etwaigen Problemen auf sich allein gestellt. Und dann schicken sie dafür hohe Rechnungen.

Six years ago, we had a gas condensing boiler with a buffer tank installed. Now the heat exchanger is leaking and the tank needs to be replaced. Repair is not possible. Weishaupt is offering no goodwill gesture whatsoever, even though a buffer tank of "German quality" shouldn't be broken after only six years. So, a definite warning about poor quality. Perhaps we should have opted for a high-quality Chinese product.

Disaster: I have a Weishaupt oil burner that was installed in 2010. This includes all components such as the burner, expansion tank, oil pump, etc. Since the beginning, we've paid a lot of money for a service contract including spare parts. For years, the service technicians have come reliably and done a good job. However, for the past few years, the oil pump has also started malfunctioning, and it was replaced free of charge. After that, the terms and conditions were changed, and the oil pump and other components were excluded from coverage. The oil pump is the weak point of this heating system and costs Weishaupt a lot of money, which is why they simply passed the cost on to the customer. Now I have to pay for the defects. Afterward, I wanted to inquire about a definitive and cost-effective option, but I was tempted to get a new oil heating system or heat pump. A Weishaupt employee told me that the amortization period of 15 years is already very, very good. So, I would now have to budget for another unit from Weishaupt with an amortization period of 10 years?! I'm astonished by the company and wouldn't have expected that even customers who have been with Weishaupt for over 25 years would have to discuss such issues. I will now compare various other heating systems and then decide. Weishaupt certainly has a negative point regarding its customer service, amortization period, and professionalism. I'm happy to share this with – probably – many other similarly surprised customers. The name Weishaupt stands for reliability, high Swiss quality, and excellent service. ==> Unfortunately, this isn't the case! Some employees are truly excellent (hence the two stars; otherwise, even one star would be too much)! However, the overall attitude is not at all in line with Swiss quality standards!

Our CHF 40,000 system is still not running properly after two years. Regional installer does not work with experts, headquarters in Geroldswil are arrogant, sending reminders for warranty services and sending an employee who discovered that the installation was faulty, but did not put the installer on track to fix it immediately. Weishaupt Germany washes its hands innocence. And all of this within the factory warranty period. There was also no acceptance/handover with a minimal explanation of the system!
