Gimmelwald war absolut atemberaubend und Esthers war ganz wunderbar. Voll ausgestattete Küche, so dass wir einige Mahlzeiten zubereiten konnten, was großartig war, da wir in der Nebensaison kamen und viele Dinge nicht geöffnet waren. Der Wäscheservice war für unsere lange Reise sehr hilfreich. Die Aussicht war hervorragend. Esther's war sehr sauber und gut organisiert und ruhig (wieder in der Nebensaison). Unser Zimmer hatte eine niedrigere Decke als erwartet, so dass ich mir ein paar Mal den Kopf angeschlagen habe, aber das liegt hauptsächlich an meinem eigenen Mangel an räumlichem Bewusstsein.

Esther's Guesthouse is hands down one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever stayed as a world traveler. Nestled in a tranquil mountain town, it offers unmatched views that will take your breath away. If you’re seeking a peaceful getaway, this is the perfect destination, surrounded by stunning landscapes and an abundance of hiking and outdoor activities. The steep gondola ride to the town is an exciting adventure, and if you drive, you can park your car at the bottom of the gondola for the duration of your stay. Typically, they charge for parking, but during our visit, construction was happening, so we were fortunate enough to park for free. It’s just a 40-minute walk to Mürren, where you can find more dining and shopping options, but the charm of this quiet town is truly special. We rented a room with a private bathroom for two nights, and it exceeded all expectations—the room was clean, cozy, and featured a walk-in shower. The hospitality at the guesthouse was equally remarkable, making our stay even more enjoyable. If I could give this place a higher score, I absolutely would! We will definitely be returning to stay here again soon!
