Das Personal hatte ein lethargisches Temperament. Es mangelte ihnen an Begeisterung für ihre Arbeit. Bestellungen wurden nicht ausgeführt.
Before 2016, Blatter stationery was the go-to place in Huttwil for office supplies. Then came the change of ownership. The new owners assured readers in the Unteremmentaler newspaper on June 16, 2016, that gift certificates would remain valid: "The issued gift certificates should ideally be redeemed by the end of June 2016, but remain valid." Unfortunately, this is not the case. On April 10, 2025, they refused to accept two gift certificates from me. Their reasoning was that they cannot redeem such gift certificates without an expiration date or number because counterfeit ones are in circulation. They are essentially implying that I, as the former pastor of the neighboring parish, might have forged the gift certificates. When I inquired whether Blatter Imhof AG had ever communicated anything different than what was stated in the 2016 Unteremmentaler, the management did not respond. It's a shame. Because under these circumstances, today's customer doesn't know what the future holds. Stationery is also a matter of trust. Apparently, the Blatter stationery shop does not uphold this tradition, even though it supposedly values traditions.
