Hotel Obersteinberg — 3824 Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

Was für ein einzigartiger und atemberaubender Ort! Die Hütte ist charmant und supergemütlich. Der Komfort ist sehr einfach, wie man es in den Bergen erwarten würde, aber alles ist makellos und fühlt sich warm und einladend an. Abends sorgt das Kerzenlicht für zusätzliche Gemütlichkeit. Der Direktor und das Personal waren äußerst gastfreundlich und das Essen war gut. Ein wirklich unvergessliches Bergerlebnis! Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend, trinken Sie etwas auf der Terrasse!

Sie kommen hierher, um die atemberaubende Aussicht, das fantastische Essen und die Möglichkeit zum Entspannen zu genießen. Wir sind von Wengen aus zugewandert. Es ist zwar ein guter Aufstieg, aber alles hier lohnt sich. Du triffst einige tolle Wanderer. Die Unterkünfte sind rustikal, aber sehr sauber, ruhig und warm. Wir versuchen bereits, eine Möglichkeit zu finden, sie mit weiteren Wanderungen noch einmal zu besuchen.

Ein besonderes Stück abgelegenen Himmels. Die intensive Wanderung dorthin ließ das Abendessen noch besser schmecken. Die flauschigen Bettdecken entschädigten für das Gemeinschaftsbad. Da es keinen Strom gab, hatte ich das Gefühl, in der Zeit zurückversetzt zu sein. Milch direkt von ihrer Kuh zum Frühstück schmeckte köstlich. Gehen Sie einfach hin und erleben Sie es und genießen Sie die Aussicht!

An excellent experience! After a long and tiring hike, we were rewarded with stunning views, an outstanding dinner, and comfortable rooms. The duvets were hugely fluffy! Probably the best meal we had in Switzerland. Here's are 10 things to help you plan your trip: 1. Book in advance (by phone or email if it's off-season) 2. Pack light for an overnight. They do have rooms that include bedding. 3. Dinner is a set menu. Give advance notice of you have specific diet needs. 4. No shoes inside the sleeping areas. 5. No electricity! Bring a flashlight with you. 6. Bring slippers. The bathroom is shared by the entire floor. 7. No showers. Bring baby wipes. 8. No insulation in the walls. If you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. 9. Breakfast is simple. Bread and cheese made on site. 10. Cash only! They do take Euros if that's all you have. Leaving a small tip is polite. There are at least three main ways to get to the hotel. (There are more, but these are the most common routes) One Is the most direct trail from Stechelberg that goes up past the waterfall. It's also the roughest trail and least maintained. It's not much fun when wet. Two + leaves from the end of the gravel road in the valley below. This takes longer, however, it's a lovely approach with better views. One of these options is most direct and steep. It is well maintained, however. The other gives you a longer, more gradual approach with waterfall views.

Perfect spot to take a seat and a rest whilst hiking these awesome mountain ranges. Service is good, as is the food and drinks. From here you can prepare and rehydrate before pushing through to the oberhornsee! Which is a small but beautifull alpine lake.
