It's been some time, but nevertheless, after receiving a new invoice from the BVG Substitute Pension Fund, which is the fault of Bolleter, I feel the need to provide a detailed comment. I was a business customer for several years. I always found contact with Bolleter, or to be more precise, Ms. Schmid, difficult. With every phone call, I had to expect to be insulted or verbally attacked. When I defended myself and made it clear that this was not acceptable, it improved, but a short time later, insults started coming over the phone again. Since I didn't have much experience with accounting, I stayed with Bolleter for a while. But when Bolleter incorrectly calculated my wages in one of my annual financial statements, and as a result, an employee's payroll was about CHF 250 over the BVG threshold, I received a letter from the SVA. I was then forcibly connected to the BVG Substitute Pension Fund, which cost me CHF 500. At my expense, of course. Now I have to pay another CHF 100 to have the connection canceled. And all because Bolleter couldn't do math. But the worst part was on the phone, when Ms. Schmid scolded me, asking why I was even thinking about talking to the SVA (Swiss Federal Insurance Office). I've had a great new external accounting department for a while now, who is friendly and extremely competent and doesn't charge me 180 Swiss francs per hour for every phone call or email. They even found out that Bolleter was calculating my VAT incorrectly. I had to pay a little extra because of it. Everyone can form their own opinion of Bolleter. But I will never outsource my business or personal accounting to them again.
