We had an amazing wine tasting experience at Spiezer Winery. The wines were excellent- a surprise to me as I didn’t know what to expect. They offered us 7 different wines and would have offered more. All of this was free! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Our only regret is they cannot ship to the US. We highly recommend this winery.
A must stop if you are in Spiez on a Wednesday evening when they do tastings from 5pm-7pm. Lovely hosts with great knowledge of their wines, which are delicious. Primarily white wines but they do have a number of excellent reds
Went there for wine tasting, I find their white wine unique. The lady was very friendly and gave a very detailed explaination on the types of wine as well as how climate has affected their crops.
After tasting the award-winning white and red wines in the castle cellar, you can enjoy an amazing view over the lake and rest your eyes on the well-groomed vineyards. A peaceful, lovely place!
