A huge thank you to the lady who gave us such a warm welcome this morning and recommended the mini trail for our 2-year-old sons in their strollers – it was a lovely walk! The little treasure chest was a big hit, as was the free sticker! Thank you, it was a wonderful encounter and a beautiful nature walk for French people longing for nature 🥰

If you have to pay for parking, you could at least make sure it doesn't turn into a complete ice rink. The car in front of us stalled and could only move with great difficulty. We also had a lot of trouble driving on this sheet of ice. My husband, as well as other passersby, helped other drivers by giving their cars a push. A little sand or gravel on the surface would have helped everyone. We continued on the easily walkable paths. In front of the "Christmas huts," you encounter the same problem again—ice bulges—some of which are practically invisible in the twilight. Yes, we had a flashlight. But even with that, you couldn't see them well enough. And so, what had to happen, happened. I slipped and landed on the hard ground. That was four days ago, and my back still hurts so much that I'm considering going to the doctor. Again, a little sand or gravel in front of the huts wouldn't be too much to ask. A little sand or gravel in front of the huts wouldn't be too much to ask. ... The huts depicting the Christmas story are beautifully done, but unfortunately, this is marred by the poorly maintained surroundings. Regarding the response from Aeschi Tourism: no, there was neither sawdust nor wood chips on the paths. Traces of these would definitely have been visible.

The new Chugeli Trail is extremely popular with young and old! Many thanks to everyone who donated their land and created the trails.

We went hiking with the kids! Very friendly advice on which tours are possible. The riddles made the hike very entertaining for the kids. Lots of lovely benches invite you to linger! We'll definitely be back! 😀 It's lovely where you are!

We booked the "baking in the old Ofehüsi" workshop through this tourist office. Despite requiring a minimum of four registrations, the tourist office made every effort to make it happen. The workshop took place in a thousand-year-old house, where you baked your own bread under supervision. While waiting, you were offered a flammkuchen (flannel cake) and a drink. Highly recommended!
