Bitterly disappointed after 14 years of loyalty Since 2010, we had been fully committed to being insured with Helvetia. We never filed a claim, never caused any trouble – always paid on time and remained loyal. But when we really needed help for the very first time after our move – because of a lost house key – we were left in the lurch. No support, empty promises on the phone, and an advisor we constantly had to chase down to get any response at all. After all these years, we expected respect, reliability, and genuine assistance. Instead, we are left with frustration and disappointment. Helvetia has definitely lost us as customers – and we cannot in good conscience recommend this insurance company to anyone.

Here, insurance contracts are drawn up and policies issued for which no application was ever signed. This shady business practice is even tolerated at the management level. Due to this highly questionable behavior, all insurance policies with Helvetia have been cancelled. It is very unfortunate that Helvetia nowadays apparently only offers insurance advice based on false information and fraudulent practices to boost sales. Only after endless correspondence and ultimately the threat of legal action did Helvetia cancel the insurance contract. The insurance business is based entirely on trust. But with such business practices, you don't gain any trust, certainly not with us.
