Our daughter received helmet therapy here, which was initially explained to us as likely to last around six months and with a clear prospect of significant treatment success. This information was decisive for our decision. In reality, however, the therapy was extended several times, and our daughter wore the helmet for over a year without any visible improvement. The children's hospital (neurology department) later confirmed that the therapy had no effect on her. From our perspective, this constitutes a classic case of faulty advice and unmet treatment goals. Under these circumstances, according to Swiss law (contract for work and services principle pursuant to Art. 368 of the Swiss Code of Obligations), no payment is owed, as the agreed-upon result was not achieved. Although we objected to the invoice on these grounds, the claim was forwarded directly to a debt collection agency instead of the matter being investigated. We find this highly unprofessional and an additional burden for parents in an already stressful situation. We strongly recommend obtaining an independent second medical opinion before starting helmet therapy and having all chances of success confirmed in writing.

Thanks Cranioform. My son is already 6 years old. When I imagine what his head would have looked like without the helmet, it was the best decision we could have made for our child! Awesome investment, it's fantastic that you exist!! I want to say that you can design the helmets yourself with glue. My son loved it because he looked like a little astronaut with the glue on it! Just a little bit of imagination!

I think the helmets aren't bad. However, it's a shame that they aren't more airy (e.g., with holes), and that there aren't color variations to make the helmets look friendlier. Yes, you can customize them yourself, with stickers or something similar, but if you could choose from the start, it would look nicer. Also, the child sweats a lot under this helmet. I should have done more research beforehand, because other manufacturers, such as Ortho Team, offer more modern helmets in more colorful versions and with air holes. A comparison of the manufacturers would be helpful. Unfortunately, I can't find a comparison that shows what sets Cranioform apart from the others.
