Small cable car (4ish people) running every 30 mins (with a break between 11:30 and 1pm), with good amount of parking. Very friendly staff. Great location at the top for starting hikes. Nice 1hr loop hike for something light.
It is the perfect starting point to make the hike to Engelberg over the Sirenen pass. Make sure to have at least medium fitness level since the hike is 18km and over 1000 hight metes.
In Uri, the people are simply still friendly and welcoming ❤️ Beautiful snowshoe trail, pristine nature and not overcrowded. Plenty of sunshine, and at Alp Catrina there's food and drink – what more could you want? The gondola was exactly to our liking: small but perfectly formed, great prices, and plenty of parking, even if you arrive later on a Saturday. Very friendly staff!
We went snowshoeing in the Brüsti area, which we practically had to ourselves. The pink trail was very well marked, and the scenery was magnificent the whole way. We were able to rent snowshoes and poles directly at the cable car station before going up. Unfortunately, one of the snowshoes and one of the poles was defective, but the person managing the cable car was very understanding and refunded us the cost of the equipment without hesitation, which we greatly appreciated!
One of the best cable cars in Switzerland! Very friendly, excellent value for money. Everything was top-notch!
The staff are very friendly and flexible. Parking is easy and you can quickly reach the mountains.
