Amazing views from the top. Both of the Big 3 (Eiger, Jungfrau & Monch) but also the next Valley. Great walks all over this mountain. So you can take the lift up and walk down if you have time. Top tip: Buy a Comfort Ticket and take the first cable car up after 4pm. It's a lot cheaper and quieter. Last lift back down was 540pm today but I guess you could always stay longer and walk down.
Stunning views and good place to drink coffee with a view. Also you can do very nice hiking. Sometimes you can see some ibex on your path.
If you travel by train/bus, you need to go to Thun first and from there a bus will take you to this place in about 30 minutes (It is actually very close to the St. Beauts caves). Once you have reached the summit the view is simply wonderful. There is a restaurant and if you are lucky you might encounter a goat or two while hiking!
Went mid January, weather was great. Incredible place. One of the most beautiful views and sunset in Switzerland! great food, coffee and drinks too.
Easy ride with funicular and cable car...hike also possible.. Short scenic walk on top...I went with parents and it was easy. Reachable by bus no. 21 and boat from Interlaken. Special mentions to **Daniel from Beatenberg** (was in top gandola office).. it was lovely talking to you...I will come and visit again in Winter .... Hope to see you again !
beautiful summit! we didn’t do the whole hike but paths were well defined and plenty of areas to walk around and enjoy the views. we took the funicular and then cable car up, and took the cable car down and connected to a bus to get back to interlaken. this was one of the less touristy areas we visited while in interlaken.
