We chose Gastronovi for our second restaurant. Which turned out to be a big mistake. Unfortunately, we found it unusable for us. The response time is very slow, it's very inflexible, you can't select a first course, programming is very cumbersome, rebooking is very confusing, etc. Many functions are hidden in modules that have to be booked separately (e.g., cash register display), and this only becomes apparent when you start working with the program. We switched systems again after just under three weeks. We booked an annual license, but unfortunately, Gastronovi/Sortec isn't accommodating us in any way. Hence the one-star rating. This is not what we call customer service. It's a real shame, so be careful and carefully consider whether this system is the right choice for the Swiss restaurant industry. PS: Gastronovi regularly deletes reviews, which shows just how unprofessional they are...
Our Payyap POS system is small and efficient and fits our business perfectly. Competent staff are readily available to help with any problems.
Highly competent and friendly staff. Support is available 24/7 (in German) and truly delivers solutions. The systems and POS terminals are flexible, customizable, and very reasonably priced. I've also rented POS terminals for events here and received excellent service. Anyone looking for a POS system should request a quote and become a customer.

We used payyap from Baldegger + Sortec at the Weesen Lake Festival 2025 – at cash registers, stalls, bars, and in staffed tents. It was incredibly easy to use, the devices reliable, the price/performance ratio excellent, and the support flawless. Our stall managers and the entire organizing team were very satisfied. Highly recommended!
