All the "test reports" unfortunately come from the same author. Even without a direct A/B comparison, the listening experience of an "unmodified" loudspeaker is apparently still reproducible months later (...) and sufficient to warrant effusive praise when, at exorbitant and fanciful prices, only the internal wiring is replaced and different stands are fitted... It's actually completely incomprehensible why Dr. Gauder doesn't use these cables if the differences are supposed to be so clear and unambiguous... Given Dr. Gauder's reaction, there's no need to resort to evasive "trade secrets"... It's almost embarrassing. If he were truly convinced, he would have bought them immediately. He's not stupid. Nevertheless: LB is an undisputed high-end authority, one of the best experts in the field in the German-speaking world, a great writer, and a very likeable person. That's why I believe him (although it's difficult for me), something I wouldn't believe for anyone else. And that's why I'm giving him a cautious 5 stars. It would be nice to have a "blind test" with independent listeners.
