My daughter is so excited to finally be diaper-free, and we owe our thanks to Melebi's Pipi-Stop! Our daughter had no trouble learning to use the potty during the daytime, but was such a deep sleeper that she had no idea when she needed to pee overnight. At 6 years old, she really wanted to be diaper-free but nothing we were able to try on our own was working. It was a wonderful experience working with the team at Melebi - they were very responsive and helpful with our questions while using the Pipi-Stop, and providing guidance to ensure our successful journey. My 7-year-old son had always needed pull-ups at night. He was a heavy sleeper and the sensation of urinating didn't stir him. He was ready to work toward dry nights, because the prospect of going on school sleep-away trips in 4P made him nervous. At the suggestion of our pediatrician, we started using a Pipi-stop in April. The alarm did not wake my son up. Rather, it woke me up, and I woke him up. Our family re-distributed ourselves so that my son would sleep in bed with my husband or me (and the other parent would sleep in my son's bed) so that we could intervene quickly. We didn't see much progress for the first 2 months. Waking up at night was, honestly, starting to wear on me - it was like having a baby again. But my son wanted to stick with it, and we did. The transition to dry nights came about pretty suddenly for us. The Pipi-stop staff told us that he might gradually start holding his bladder until later and later in the morning (e.g., at 3am instead of 2am), but our experience was a quick transtition; from one night to the next he started having dry nights. After 3 months we were confident that he no longer needed a plastic sheet "just in case." Through the whole process, the Pipi-stop staff was very supportive and had good suggestions for progressing through the treatment. The solution was truly tailored to our son. I'm very glad we chose this treatment. It was not a silver bullet, but it worked. At this point it's been 2 months of dry nights. We celebrated by buying new bed sheets.
