I tried to sell a 5.5-gram gold ring. On the website, they say 72 francs per gram, which should have been around 400. But in the store, they offered 300 francs. Apparently, it depends on the quality of the jewelry and the customer's appearance. They don't calculate it by grams, but by what you bring them. For my ring, they calculated it at 5.3 grams, even though it weighs 5.5. I went to sell it at a jewelry store and received 310 francs. Not a huge difference, but still!
I arrived shortly before closing time on Saturday, but still received very friendly and competent service. The price for the precious metal wasn't exorbitant, but fair. I'd gladly do business with them again!
