Great shop with a extremely unique selection of rings and necklaces. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a wedding ring.
We met Beat at the MariNatal wedding fair in Bern. We found his views on wedding rings extremely interesting from the start, which ultimately led us to visit his studio in Brienz. There, he showed us many different rings and explained the possibilities. Beat loves a challenge, which is why practically anything is possible. Furthermore, the showroom vividly demonstrated how rings age over time and with wear. People usually buy a beautifully polished ring and are then disappointed when it no longer looks so good after a short time. This was one of the reasons why we ultimately chose rings from Gold & Stein. Our rings are made from a stone from the bride's homeland, which has great symbolic meaning for us and is more important than any precious metal. We've now been married for over two months and have worn the rings every day since the wedding, enjoying them immensely. Service note: The bride's ring was too large and had to be resized. We sent Beat the ring by mail, and he resized it free of charge and sent it back to us. That's more than you could expect and shows that he values craftsmanship over commercial gain. We will definitely have Beat make another ring for us in the future and already know we'll be satisfied.
We wanted unique and truly special wedding rings – and Beat from Gold & Stein made that possible. Even at our initial consultation, we were impressed by his expertise and friendly manner. The conversation was pleasant, efficient, and full of exciting ideas. It was particularly fascinating to learn about the extraordinary materials that can be used to craft a ring. Our rings are absolutely one-of-a-kind and have turned out beautifully: made from meteorite rock and petrified wood, with an engraving that even incorporates a dinosaur tooth, and complemented by a design with personal meaning. For all soon-to-be-married couples who want to wear not just rings, but true works of art, we highly recommend Beat. The trip to Brienz was definitely worth it. Thank you again, Beat!

While searching for unique and personal wedding rings, we came across Beat's Atelier in Brienz. We knew immediately upon our first meeting that we had found the perfect place, and we now wear our beautiful wedding rings with great joy. The long journey from Basel to Brienz was absolutely worth it; Beat crafted our rings from the combination of gold and oak wood from an ancient oak tree with exquisite skill.
