Such a cool way for hiking and walking. You can find so many amazing wooden sculptures everywhere next to the path. The lake at the “end” … just wow!!
Nice hike, but I was expecting something better. We did this mid april 2021, still full of snow (more than 1m in certain points). The sun lasted only until ~2pm: afterwards it was behind the mountains. There isn't a nice view of the main lake, but you can see it through trees in certain spots.

Far from the massive tourism. 2 hours from Axalp. Amazing lake and nice route through the forest by the woodcarving Trail.
