For my first apprenticeship, I chose Witschi Metallbau as my training company. I can now say that I'm not a natural when it comes to manual work. However, I've never experienced such disrespectful treatment as I did there. The behavior the entire team displayed towards me amounted to bullying. For their amusement, I was often insulted and chased across the construction site. When I failed, the whole team laughed at me, and the boss usually responded with a fit of rage. This went so far that I was no longer able to come to work for psychological reasons and changed training companies. Even then, the company met me with incomprehension and accusations. This experience happened several years ago, and I can't say whether the company has changed in this regard. However, I feel I owe it to myself and future apprentices to share this experience. I wouldn't wish such treatment on my worst enemy, and certainly not on a young person.

Very bad company for trial periods and apprenticeships. The employees smoke in the workshop all the time. The boss insults the employees. I went for a trial period and he shouted at me because, at 13, I didn't know how to weld very well. They don't pay attention to quality, but rather to the price. An apprentice told me that they make more money. It's embarrassing that the factory manager can't admit his mistakes. He took my trial report when I gave it to an employee so he could fill it out. He described everything as bad. He sits around in his office and can answer my trial report but he didn't even sign it. Not worth recommending for an apprenticeship.
