Update: One year later I got my fitted boots. I was attended by Maurus a trainee in his third year who was as attentive to my needs and experienced in his trade as my previous experience with James. Again an outstanding customer experience: Maurus spent two hours exclusively focused on me, getting the right fit, sharing tips on how to properly tighten my boots and how to make sure they'll fit me for many years to come. I was offered coffee, had friendly chats with staff and other customers and overall felt more like a guest than a customer: I am very happy to have spent my money here and enjoyed my first day on the slopes with a boot firmly wrapping my feet! Make sure you go during the week when there is less people to fully enjoy the attention of the staff Original: Extraordinary service experience: I had been to a few other places looking for ski boots but never felt properly advised. After reading multiple excellent reviews about Stöckli boot fitting service I paid them a visit: I am an intermediate skier who just got back into skiing and was looking for a midrange boot at a discount during end of season sale. I booked a consultation with James and it is as they say: the level of attention, dedication, honesty and expertise you receive matches their reputation. I got my feet scanned and James took his time to explain to me a variety of factors relevant to my ski level and foot structure that I truly treasured. I have thin feet and low volume boots my size are hard to find. Although I found one model fitting me I decided to postpone my purchase to the beginning of next season. James still went out of his way helping me find a suitable rental boot to finish the season with. I'll be back in October and look forward to getting my very own fitted boot. What a great experience! Drove for an hour to receive a competent service in the ski field which we absolutely did! Max was OUTSTANDING and EXCEPTIONAL! Max took an incredible amount of time for myself and my husband to fit ski boots even though we just turned up without an appointment as we didn’t know they would take so much time and work so detailed towards finding the right boots for you.
