Every summer we go strawberry picking at least once and cherry picking once, and it's always a wonderful experience. The farm offers lots to discover in the summer, is very well-maintained, and the ice cream and walnut cookies in the shop are highly recommended! This past January, we tried the short reindeer walk, and our four-year-old got to lead a reindeer together with an adult. A huge highlight! A truly fantastic experience!
We did the short reindeer trekking tour. It was a fantastic experience and we learned a lot of interesting things about the animals. After a few initial hiccups, the reindeer walked beautifully. There are other animals to see on the farm (sheep, goats, llamas, donkeys, etc.). We also enjoyed the farm shop.
A lot of effort goes into it, and it's beautiful in the dark. However, you can't see the reindeer then. They're the main attraction of the Reindeer Advent Trail. The disappointment was huge. Does the light disturb the animals?
I had the pleasure of working with Salome and the Dachsen Reindeer Farm for my first Christmas photoshoot in November. From the very beginning, working with Salome was a very pleasant and uncomplicated experience. Salome exudes a great sense of calm, which was contagious, affecting the animals, my clients, and me as the photographer. Her interactions with my clients and the children were also very warm and patient. Salome was always with the reindeer, radiating a great deal of trust and composure, and she also offered support whenever needed, which I greatly appreciated. I can wholeheartedly recommend Salome and her reindeer farm, whether for reindeer trekking, the delicious treats from her farm shop, the wonderful Advent trail in winter, or, of course, the delicious berries and fruits directly from her farm in spring and summer. I am grateful for this wonderful collaboration and am already looking forward to the next reindeer photoshoot on November 26th.
I stumbled across the ad in the newspaper by chance! A lovely area with animals, an Advent trail with handcrafted Advent windows, and a wonderfully decorated gnome forest for playing and relaxing with children. Delicious soup and punch. We enjoyed it so much that we went twice! A big thank you to everyone involved!!! Fantastic job!!!
