First and foremost, what a wonderful medical team, led by Dr. Kuhn and forgive me Dr. Z for not having the full spelling of your name. I was in so much pain when I came in on May 7 having broken a rib and punctured my left lung. The 2 doctors and amazing nursing staff. and xray techs really took care of me as did the dining people - although the food choices left something to be desired, especially for a Type 1 diabetic (boiled potatoes and cheese for dinner?)! Anyway, the doctors and staff (yes you Aline) took great care of me. Thank you all. Still in pain but now home
After a nasty fall and first aid in the medical center in Wengen, they concluded we needed a surgeon and were sent to this hopsital. The communication was flawless and the ER was expecting us. We were helped in a very fast way (especially in an ER). The doctor that admitted us and the doctor assistent and surgeon were super friendly and professional. We believe we received the best care we could. Thank you again to the entire medical staff!
I was treated here on Tuesday 18th Feb. I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to EVERYONE that helped that day. A broken wrist was put in an open cast for flying, together with a letter for the airline. Very very clean hospita and lovely people that gave me very clear updates. My local hospital was also very impressed. All the very best to everyone there!
While travelling ( from Australia ) in Switzerland last September my husband became seriously ill and was admitted to the hospital via Emergency. The staff were thorough and professional. Thank you. My husband has recovered thanks to the level of expertise and care.
We had a caesarean delivery here. We stayed in the house K, 2nd floor for 4 days. The care of the nurses and midwives was very good!!! I am writing this review to comment on how surprisingly bad the in-room meal system is. There are 3 meals and not 4. Breakfast is always the same and very basic and sometimes they forget the fruit or yoghurt. Dinner is a joke, very little in quantity, ultra light things like salad or fruit.... Lunch is usually a bit better. What prompted me to write this is not so much the poor quality of the food but also the people who come to take the orders and serve it. These people are almost rude, you work in a hospital, it's not a Mac Donalds! The lady comes to take the order 4 days before, she has no options (hard cheese or white cheese are the options...) it doesn't make any sense. And in the end they always change or forget something from what you order. The girls who serve the food come in loud and fast, shuffle the tray and then come all the time to ask if we are done. If you don't finish quickly, they leave your tray until the next day. And if you walk down the corridor when they retire the trays, you will see how they arrange the trays in a rough way and you can hear broken glass more than once. The hospital and the professionals are good, but the hospitality leaves a lot of room for improvement and I didn't want to let it go.
Clean, staff is quite friendly and the hole hospital is quite accessible. There's a small bar and a restaurant on the bottom floor.
