Absolutely beautiful! We found it by accident and ended up climbing as far up as we could to fully experience this stunning setting. Well worth a lengthy visit...and it's free! We will be returning as soon as possible....

Local Folklore: According to local legend, the area around Diesbachfall was once thought to be enchanted, with stories of forest spirits or "Alpgeister" who inhabited the dense forests surrounding the waterfall. These spirits were said to protect the falls and the surrounding wilderness from harm. Height: Diesbachfall has a total height of around 90 meters (295 feet), cascading in multiple stages, creating a spectacular natural show. Accessibility: Easily accessible by foot, it’s a popular spot for hikers and nature lovers. A short hike from the nearby road leads to a closer viewing area.
Beautiful spot with a wooden shaded grill place. Waterfall is amazing. If you want to smell a piece of Switzerland go there without any hesitation. But there is only one picnic spot so that go earlier.
