We had a fantastic afternoon at Weingut Pircher and it ended up being one of the highlights of our time in the area. Our host, Gianmarco, was wonderful—fun, conversational, and incredibly welcoming. The tasting never felt rushed; instead it felt like spending the afternoon chatting with someone who truly loves what he does. He shared great insights about the wines and the region while keeping the experience relaxed and enjoyable. Gianmarco also gave us a short tour of the vineyard cellar, which was a great added touch. It made the experience feel more personal and gave us a glimpse into the winemaking process behind the wines we were tasting. To top it off, he even kindly provided transportation back to the train station, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the whole visit easy and stress-free. Great wine, beautiful surroundings, and outstanding hospitality—highly recommend visiting Weingut Pircher if you’re anywhere near Eglisau! 🇨🇭🍇🍷

Our visit to Weingut Pircher was truly unforgettable, and that is entirely thanks to Giammarco and his outstanding hospitality. We traveled all the way from the United States and had arranged a tasting in advance, even though the winery was normally closed that day. Giammarco graciously accommodated our request and organized a private tasting experience that exceeded every expectation. Even though we arrived about 15 minutes late, he welcomed us warmly without hesitation and made us feel completely at ease. The tasting itself was intimate, informative, and wonderfully conversational. Giammarco took the time to walk us through the wines, share the story behind the winery, and create an atmosphere that felt personal rather than rushed. What truly made the experience extraordinary was his genuine kindness and willingness to go above and beyond. At the end of our visit, he even drove us back to the train station, which was the perfect finishing touch to an already amazing afternoon. The wines were excellent, but the service and hospitality were truly five-star. Experiences like this are rare and memorable. We had a truly wonderful experience at Weingut Pircher. The winery was actually closed the day we visited, but Gianmarco kindly opened it for us so we could enjoy the experience.
