Probably the worst playlist submission site out there. As a curator, the guy (yes, singular) running the site almost never replies when you try to contact him. The support is awful.. You are forced to decline submissions instead of skipping them/sending them to another curator when they don't suit your playlist. Often it's because the genre is wrong but the site doesn't tell you which genre that was targeted, so in many cases it's impossible to know which genre to disconnect from the playlist. It takes forever to get a playlist accepted as well, I wrote to support and when he eventually replied he said that he will let me know "soon". That was two months ago.
Helped me with some playlists, but for the price of the service they could do more, they matched me with the same curators even if my songs were a completely different style. I got in to two playlists who barely give me any streams even though one of them has 70000 followers. Youβd expect them to find some right fits, but loads of playlist that they matched me with had a different style of music in which my song was never going to fit in the first place. In the end every bit of promotion is good and this is definitely not a scam. Just expected a bit more.
Songrocket has been instrumental in my Spotify growth! Their support is very friendly and quick to resolve any questions or issues I may have. Its also a huge time savor as it can be very tedious sifting through individual playlists and making sure that people actually listen to them. Highly recommend this to any artist or musician looking to get their music heard. Even some of the feedback from the playlisters has been super helpful when I jump back into the studio! I use this platform with every release and will continue to do so.
I don't recommend this service as they are absolutely not customer oriented. The curators just write "useless reviews and reject tracks". Support supports the curators and do not even try to influence it. In the end, you just pay money, your track will be rejected and you will get written -- something that you can't even use to work on bugs or to publish. Here's an example of the feedback you may receive and it's according to support totally normal. -- Hello, thank you for sending us your track. The mixdown still has many problems and the arrangement is a bit chaotic. But you are on the right direction. --- P/S: The owner Luke was so offended by my review that he removed a track from his playlist that was previously approved by a previous company. Once again, this shows that they don't care about you. You brought him money and that's the end of it. So be prepared that for your money you will get, if you are lucky, a few playlist spots and reviews that won't help you in any way. It's very sad that the owner doesn't even try to change the situation with "greedy" curators. And in the current situation where Spotify has changed its policy on royalty payments, this is completely out of line with the common sense attitude towards little-known artists who already have a very difficult time reaching listeners.
We used to use services like Submithub and Groover to give our new music exposure on Spotify playlists, but found their systems to be clunky and time consuming. With SongRocket we have a song uploaded and ready to go in 1 or 2 minutes. They vet their playlist contributors to ensure they don't use bots so you are getting real streams. Their online chat support is great as well.
This is about customer service. Excellent support. Quick and no problems. I chatted with Luk. The fix was immediate.
