I planned my move within Central Switzerland very carefully and chose Gabriel Transport as my moving company, based on a recommendation from a colleague. They conducted a site visit at my home and gave me helpful tips for the move. Afterwards, I received a quote, which I found to be very transparent and fair. On moving day, four highly motivated and experienced movers arrived and meticulously transported all my belongings to my new location. I was impressed by the professionalism with which the entire process was handled. They truly knew their craft and clearly enjoyed their work! I was particularly impressed by the external lift, which allowed them to bring my furniture directly into my apartment through the window on the third floor. In the end, the final bill was exactly as quoted. I can wholeheartedly recommend this moving company!

One star is too many for this company. We were given a quote that indicated a specific amount. But after the movers arrived, the price suddenly increased. According to the mover, the move was supposed to take 6 hours, but despite our help, the helpers took 8 hours. It was obvious that the helpers were exploiting every minute to drive up the price. They even carried every single item into the elevator to extend the working time. We even had to pay for the helpers' breaks, even though they weren't working during those breaks. When the helpers were finished, we received a final sheet showing the working hours and costs. But when the final invoice arrived, it was CHF 1,000 higher than agreed. The invoice also included costs for materials that were never discussed with us. We tried to resolve this matter with the manager, but he showed no understanding. If you're looking for a moving company that charges you for breaks and then bills you for material costs afterward, then this company might be right for you. But we wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
