Excellent night on very confortable (not itchy) straw! Hans and Doris are charming (even if they do not speak English ;-) For CHF 28.- per person/night, you will also get to taste a delicious breakfast, with100% organic products from the farm. And if lucky with the weather, you'll see the sunrise right above the Mönch, Eiger and Jungfrau summits!
We were incredibly lucky to spend the summer at the Gehrig organic farm campsite – and it was simply wonderful! Ruedi and Doris are incredibly warm and helpful hosts who run their farm with so much love and dedication. The campsite is located right at the foot of the imposing Stockhorn mountain, and the hiking trail starts just a few meters away – a dream for anyone who loves nature and the mountains! The farm itself is lively and idyllic: ponies, cows, ducks, geese, rabbits, and chickens make the stay a truly memorable experience. We were especially delighted by the fresh eggs we received regularly. The loving care they give the farm and the warm hospitality of Ruedi and Doris made our stay unforgettable. The peace and quiet, the proximity to nature, and the family atmosphere completely captivated us. Thank you so much for this wonderful time!
A wonderful organic farm run with passion and a great sense of hospitality. Our group had a wonderful time, sleeping in the hay and being treated to a regional, homemade dinner and breakfast. A big thank you to Doris & Ruedi!
Doris and Ruedi are natural hosts. We were able to organize our bachelorette party with them without any hassle. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and homemade. It has wool blankets, a grill, a stove, a kitchen, a toilet, etc. It's really well-equipped. We didn't lack for anything. The location is also easily accessible by public transport! I highly recommend a stay at Biohof Gehrig!
Doris and Ruedi are wonderful hosts, and the landscape with the mountains in the background is picturesque. We had a fantastic pre-wedding party with them. Highly recommended!
Very hospitable and spontaneous. A super nice common room and a wonderfully comfortable place to sleep! It has wool blankets and sheets, and the farm is well located.
