We stayed at Hotel Eden Spiez from 26–29 January for a work-related team event and had a fantastic experience. The terrace views are stunning, the food was excellent (especially the tartare), and the service was outstanding. The spa area with the Finnish sauna and pool was perfect for relaxing after a long day. A special thank-you to Chiara — after just the first dinner she remembered exactly who drinks what and who orders what. Being greeted with “cola zero with lemon, without ice — as usual?” was such a lovely and rare touch. Truly exceptional service. Highly recommended — we’d happily come back!
This was a wonderful hotel situated between the railway station and the marina. All the staff were exceptional, always happy to help, always with a smile. There were 11 in our group including 2 under 6. Breakfast was excellent with items …
We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Eden Spiez! • The location is absolutely stunning with breathtaking views. • The staff were extremely warm, helpful, and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. • The hotel offers pick-up and drop service to the station, which made traveling very easy. • The highlight was the indoor heated swimming pool and the salt jacuzzi – such a relaxing experience! • Being vegetarian (no eggs), we were so touched that the staff tried their level best to accommodate our food preferences. They even heated our ready-to-eat meals with a smile. Truly one of the best stays in Switzerland – amazing, fabulous, and memorable. Highly recommended!
GREAT HOTEL!Amazing breakfast with A la cart option, great view, amazing amenities with pools, sauna, spa, etc., and it’s fairly spacious.The room is great! I should have booked this hotel for all 5 nights in the area instead of going to a terrible but way more expensive Wengen hotel.WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL
The hotel is a 'conference' hotel meaning that you shouldn't get your hopes up about the exterior nor the interior. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the place, but if you are vacationing in the area of Thun / Interlaken you probably want something different. Although having read some other hotel reviews in the area where the reviewers complained about the lack of elevators in old wooden buildings I understand that a certain kind of traveler would appreciate this place.
Over-priced hotel. Room condition was good but you should manage your expectations on the services here. No good service at the breakfast. There were flies over the buffet food but the hotel staffs do not care about it at all. By the way, some local residents nearby seem not friendly to the tourists.
