The second star is for the fact that local buses exist. I don’t know about the winter schedule, but in summer time, it is pretty bad: most buses come every hour at best, so if you need to get around, half of your day will be lost waiting for the next bus; the schedule is not up to date (one route is covered by bus 233, but all stops show 237 - I suppose that has to do with summer/winter hours, but this is not shown anywhere); staff at the office knows very little French or English and does not know the schedule very well either; bus drivers are not the friendliest of people: they don’t say hi or you’re welcome (even in German) and if you happen to drive and meet one be careful, they can get a bit aggressive - I understand that you’re big and the roads are narrow and I have to yield, that is perfectly fine, but if I reverse to let you pass (I don’t have a problem with that, it’s normal), don’t bring down the window and argue that I was going too fast.
Cooool bus station, like literally because it was very hot that day and the bus station has a nice spot to hide from the sun! The guy who sold us bus tickets was very friendly and helpful! Thank you AFA!
The bus waited at the train station for a couple of minutes to board people that were arriving a bit late on train. Great job!
Local bus in Kandersteg, Frutigen and Adelboden. 👍 …
We had a wonderful trip with a fantastic AFA team to the Furka Cogwheel Steam Railway. Respect to Mr. Hess for how effortlessly and safely he maneuvered the coach over the mountain passes. Best regards
Fantastic trip to Lake Como at the end of March with Noldi Hess and Liliane Greber! It was the best bus trip of my life. And I'd love to go on holiday with Noldi and Liliane again! Thanks for everything and see you soon! Best regards, Sandra Rubi
