Booked an appointment at the showroom in advance, with specific questions we expected to be answered during the visit. Unfortunately the BSH representative was unprepared and unable to answer the questions, and used arguments like “all these models do what you expect them to do” and “we are thousands of these devices every year”. Thirty minutes later, we realized that we are wasting time, and left. The representative sent an email with specifications of a device, when we asked additional question we never got an answer. A missed opportunity for BSH, as we bought a device of another manufacturer (with excellent showroom support). A class in value added selling is overdue at BSH.
We had a Siemens service technician come to fix our ceramic hob, and the experience was excellent. The technician was punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable. They quickly identified the issue, explained the problem clearly, and efficiently repaired it. Our hob is now working perfectly, and we’re very satisfied with the service. We had a technical problem with our brand new oven from Siemens. These things happen - modern compliances are now "smart", and thereby also mini-computers with WiFi and upgradable firmware. So why 5 stars for a product that didn't work (at first)? Because it is when something goes wrong that a company can show its true colors. And our issue was handled really well! Called the service line, and an appointment with a technician two working days later was set. The problem was not trivial to solve, but the technician came well-prepared and had a new circuit-board, which was replaced. Problem solved, and the oven now works as it should. Not quite clear what the cause of the issue was, but main point is that it was solved.
We had a dish washer from Siemens for last 7 years. In that time the device was fully replaced and still broke down every 1-1.5 years. And although every time it was the same heating module that broke we had to pay repair price over again or had an offer to buy a new dish washer. Very bad experience.
I called regarding my defect laundry card and was immediately placed on hold after someone picked up. For the record, I speak high German, albeit with an accent. After waiting on hold for about 5 minutes, the call was terminated. I wonder why the call was terminated. There was also no call back to my number. Terrible customer service and a bad experience too.
Forgot to pay an invoice in August. Never got any notification or any other form of contact. Just got an coercive payment from a 'dog-hunt' company asking for 3 times the amount. After several weeks of attempts we finally got in touch, BSHG sorted it out and all got solved. Mistakes happen anywhere but only professional services can solve any type of customer issue. Thanks!
