Air-dried bacon with Alpine herbs. A very delicate aroma, and thanks to the non-smoking process, the Alpine herbs come into their own. Enjoy it with just a few onions and/or Maggi on crispy bread. A Herrschäftler or a light red wine from Valais goes perfectly with it. As an aperitif, hearty snack, or for dinner, I'll definitely buy this bacon again.

The Spar ham (No. 1) is absolutely unacceptable. I almost bit my tooth out because there was bone fragment in it. It was all over the package. They must have used any old junk; the rest went straight in the bin! Update: My complaint was accepted. That speaks well of the company and their high quality management.
