YALLO: Refusing cancellation for customer moving abroad I moved out of Switzerland permanently in May 2025. I submitted a cancellation request via the yallo support chat back on April 3, 2025 (Ticket #7359090), but my request was ignored. Now yallo support is forcing me to call a 08xx hotline to cancel, which is technically impossible to reach from abroad! You are trapping me in a yallo contract I cannot use, while sending me bills, despite my timely written cancellation confirmation. I demand an immediate retroactive cancellation based on my original request (Ticket #7359090). If this is not resolved within 24 hours, I am filing an official complaint with Ombudscom regarding unfair billing practices. My details and proof have been sent to yallo via Facebook Messenger. Please check and resolve.

Sunrise smartphone buying program is basically a scam when you want to own the phone, They will ask you to pay the whole price which is much higher than the market price to own the phone, disgusting trick

Make sure you record all calls with customer service! Art 28 of the Swiss Code of Obligations basically summarizes the business model of Yallo: "If a party has been induced to enter into a contract by a fraudulent misrepresentation made by the other party, the contract does not bind the deceived party." I foolishly thought that signing up for fiber internet+TV would be easy and straightforward in 2025 in Switzerland. Dumb me! At every step of my interaction with Yallo I was either deceived or shocked that customer service representatives seemed to not talk with each other OR use the same CRM system. I felt like speaking with a robot who gets its memory erased after every call. Because they were slow to activate my fiber (not that they had to build//connect cables, the cables and socket were ALREADY in the walls) they offered to send me a SIM card to compensate for the lack of internet until the fiber becomes active. This magically turned into a monthly subscription, without my consent. Does this sound familiar to many of you out there? I bet so. So, something that was offered to me as a temporary solution to compensate for Yallo's inability to deliver fiber max BECAME a subscription that I was never informer about. To add insult to injury, when I asked for the contract that I apparently agreed to, to get the SIM, I was sent a contract that I'd never seen before, which read: "Customer agreed to all terms and conditions." BUT it was not signed (by me), which basically confirms the fraud. If they added a fake signature they would have been liable under Article 146 of the Swiss Criminal Code (SCC) and Article 251 SCC. Obviously fraud is intentional: they claim that they record all calls for training purposes so, DESPITE recording them, they have the nerve to claim that customers agreed on the phone to something when actually customers didn't do that. Has anyone submitted a complaint to the Federal Consumer Affairs Bureau (FCAB) for fraudulent misrepresentation of Yallo's services? Or taken them to court? I'd appreciate a short and sweet summary on what are the steps for either of these options.

Extremely Poor Service – A Frustrating Experience I had to wait five months for a simple internet connection — a completely unacceptable delay in today’s world. After endless back and forth, I was finally offered two months free as a gesture of goodwill. But even that went wrong: the first bill I received was already incorrect. This level of disorganization and carelessness makes it hard to believe that Sunrise employs competent or properly trained staff. The entire process was frustrating and felt chaotic from start to finish. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Sunrise to anyone looking for reliable service.

Despite the very bad experience with moving my mobile subscription to Sunrise (via phone), the sales representative in the shop was very helpful.

So Sunrise switches off the 3G network. They don't provide configurations for 'older' (i.e. a few years) phones and then fingerpoints at the phone manufacturers for not supporting VoLTE? Basically they are bricking anything not sold in their own shops or more than 2-3 years ago. With no advance notice. This is disingenuous. I strongly recommend anyone who needs reliable services to stay away from Sunrise and their resellers.
