Last year I brought my car in for a minor service, but it wasn't ready for pickup on the agreed-upon day (an internal communication error, caused by the owner himself). Then I received a bill for over €700 for minor replacements, even though I had specifically requested only the necessary work: oil filter, air filter, oil, and brake testing. It was a really simple service, and then they cleaned the engine compartment and replaced the windshield wiper blades. (They didn't replace the air filter, though?) Now, a year later, I took it in for service (at a different garage), and they told me straight away that it's completely rusted through at the right wheel. In previous years, I took it to Schöneberger, and no one ever mentioned it. Back then, it could have been repaired. I didn't know any better myself and would have expected to be informed by a competent garage and staff. This rust can't be less than a year old if the car sat in a garage for seven months over the winter. Unprofessional work and generally unfriendly service (from the owner).
I feel in good hands at Schönenberger. The lady in the office is always very friendly, and the boss immediately understands what I want. I can recommend them with a clear conscience!
A helper in need: Our van broke down and couldn't continue driving (drive shaft broken). Schönenberger was able to tow the vehicle the same day and repair it the next. Thanks to this top-notch service, we were able to use the van, which we urgently needed, the very next day. Thank you for the smooth process.

I was simply left standing there as a walk-in customer when the phone rang. Mr. Schönenberger answered the phone mid-inquiry about a repair without asking anything like, "Can I take this quickly?" etc., and just left me standing there in the workshop before walking off towards the office... Apparently, not every customer is important to him.
