We had the best experience ever there last Tuesday night. The owner lady was so kind. The fondue was exceptionally good with local cheese and charcuterie and the homemade pie for dessert was as pleasant. The place is tiny and charming, we even made friends there because the atmosphere is made for it. The family history behind it made the experience even more unique. The view on the valley was stunning. Recommending 200%! Thank you so much for the experience.
What a great restaurant! 1300m over the sea level. Local food! Fondue and many more! Homemade! And view… we didn’t want to leave ! Grappa service is unique - check the picture ! Just be careful as the road there is narrow! But worth every feet we crawl there :))))
What a nice ambient. The owner take care of her guest with so much love and attention you feel like at home. The food was delicious even with those small selected meal. You will not regret it. Soup of the day ( pumpkin cream soup) was amazing. The temperature of the soup was prepared perfectly like a Michelin Star restaurant. The road to the restaurant in winter time is an adventure. At least you need a 4x4😊 The decoration in the donning room is just arts. Every spot was detailed decorated. We was on the second Advents and of course the second candle was light up.
Authentic food, we felt very welcomed here, the people here love what they do, the food was generous and tasty, we could try many specialities. Decoration is cosy, we had a great time here. Rosti were the most crispy we had, we loved the fondue, even the salad, but the pasta dish - so generous in cheese and onions was my favourite:)
Fantastic! Do yourself a favor and visit here. They had opened in June, family-owned, grandparents have owned the place for 30 years, restaurant just opened and it’s just lovely. Quaint charming atmosphere, overlooking the mountains and green hills. Their two children are absolutely adorable. Ordered the alplermagronen (Swiss Mac and cheese) and it was yum. Tried the chestnut vermicelli with ice cream dessert and it was delightful. Whole atmosphere is great. Lovely, sweet couple, who checks up on you often to make sure you’re doing fine and enjoying your meal. Quite the drive up the mountain (single lane) to get to, but worth it. Or if you’re out hiking, nice pit stop. Would come back to try the other dishes and say hello to the lovely couple and children again.
Cannot say enough amazing things about this place! The food was so incredible that we ordered seconds. The couple that owns the place told us all about the history of the restaurant and some of the dishes that have been in the family for over 50 years. The view was absolutely stunning as well!
