Just a note: internet connection in the area is quite weak, there’s no English menu available, and the staff’s English is fairly limited — so it’s a good idea to prepare in advance if you don’t speak German. The staff were very friendly. The food was generally good, but it would be nice to see something extra on the plate included in the price — maybe a bit of garnish or something for presentation.
Great place to enjoy a Roesti and a cool drink. If there is a large number of guests then the staff struggles. It's a pity that it is cash only. Highly recommend for a very enjoyable meal or drink in one of the most beautiful areas of Switzerland.
amazing little place out of nowhere. what a nice little respite we had there. very tasty traditional cake and tea. they accepted euros as well. but they accept only cash.
Beautiful restaurant. Kind and helpful staff members. Very peaceful and tranquil location surrounded by green sceneries and forrest. The interior has a very nostalgic vibe of a classic mountain cabin or refuge. The river and streams and waterfalls nearby add another level of charm and beauty to this place. The food was fresh and delicious and didn't take too long to get served. The coffee was good. Easily accessible on foot or by bicycle and car ( exceptions). Highly recommend this restaurant.
Delicious, simple Swiss food. Everything was good - the rötzi, eggs, schweinewurst and onion gravy were all phenominal. Was the perfect stop just over halfway on our hike. Francs preferred, but they can accept a card if need be.
Some friends brought us here and we had a fantastic meal. So much so that we decided to come here after a hike. This was a big mistake. For 15 minutes we were ignored, not even provided with a menu. Even some diners at other table noticed how long we had been waiting. Eventually we just left,very disappointed and still thirsty.
