Restaurant Central Wolter — Dorfstrasse 93, 3818 Grindelwald, Switzerland

The food was tasty and the service was great. We had the potato soup and it was delicious!!! My steak was okay, and my friend had pasta which was flavorful. The wine and local beer was good too.

I was there for my last dinner at Grindelwald so I wanted to get as much as possible the view. And it was not disappointed, the view was magnificent. The food was good, even small portion was more than enough for myself. The staffs were friendly however if you sit outside like I did, they may not come around very often.

The food was fabulous! I didn't know what to expect because it didn't have good reviews. We initially went to another restaurant next door which had better reviews. The food was decent at that restaurant. Later in the day, we came to this restaurant (Central Wolter). The food was amazing. The beef tartar was incredible and so was the asparagus soup. The apple strudel was delicious. The service was also fabulous. Our waitress, Susanne, was super friendly and VERY attentive. I would definitely eat here again.

We stopped for a beer and a light snack at the end of summer on the outdoor terrace of Central Wolter. As usual in Switzerland, the beer was very good. The snack was ok. Unfortunately, there were a lot of flies here (and elsewhere too), which somewhat hindered our enjoyment of the beer. The service was a bit rude and the waiting times were long. The restaurant is in a very central location in Grindelwald and a stone's throw from the train station. The view of the mountains was great.

The whole restaurant is full of flies. The couple beside us asked for the fan so we did too, but the waiter was not very happy when we asked for it. The food was mediocre and expensive. Would not recommend.
