Very nice environment. Friendly waitress and even the chef is out to help preparing the guests. Children are given chalk and board to draw. Food is very delicious. Great service.
This restaurant is literally a GEM on the Zurich countryside. We have been here many times for dinner and everytime I am fully convinced this is the restaurant to be! The local rindsfilet quality is the most superb and of utmost quality! Definitely worth a try. Also, the service is superb thanks to the beautiful lady with the curly hair. Just recently they added to their starters mezze, which is very complementary to the salads and seems delicious and especially practical for families or bigger tables. But the meat.. again, absolute best!! Thank you so much, we will be definitely back again! LG, Stauffer
Steakhouse Hirschen is an excellent choice for dinner with a relaxing, country-side vibe, located only 10 min drive from Zürich in the beautiful landscape of Grüningen. The terrace has a great view, which is perfect for sitting outside in the summertime. I would highly recommend the black angus steak on the hot stone, the meat quality is superb, it is even better than the other steak places we visit in Zürich city. The wine choices are fine, you also find good value especially from Swiss vineyards, we had a nice Merlot from Ticino. I would like to say special thanks to the host with the beautiful curly hair, she is always so kind and professional. This was our second time here, but not the last time for sure, we will definitely be coming back.
Fantastic restaurant in Grüningen. From the terrace you have a beautiful view. The food was delicious, I have nothing to complain about my chicken breast with Mango cream sauce (to die for!), vegetables (on point!) and Spätzli (mmmmmmmh, yummy). Unfortunately there was no room for dessert in my stomach, because the dessert options sounded all very tempting! The host and hostess both greeted us and were very friendly and attentive. Don't miss this restaurant if you are in the area. I will definitely visit again and try one of the six cordon bleu options!
