We started our mornings with pastries at this bakery. Good variety of pastries and prices are reasonable. Croissants and strudels are tasty but somewhat dense. Ham and cheese sandwich is good but bread is harder to chew since it's refrigerated. Pastry names are in german, so really appreciate that the bakery staff took the time to explain each item in English.

Local bakery serving sweet and savoury options. We loved the spinach and the leek quiches, as well as their cookies. They can warm up the things if you want to. They also speak English as it’s quite a touristy area. Outside they have a few tables to stand up where you can eat the things. They also have gifts you can take with you eg they make their own chocolate and meringue

We went back each day of our trip! Super friendly staff and a nice variety of chocolate and baked goods. Don’t skip the Berliner doughnut! This was the perfect stop for us to pick up lunch for our hike and a little snack afterwards.

AWESOME place to get a sweet or savory snack or a sandwich - huge selection, very cheerful staff, and perfect location. AND, they make everything themselves, not just an outlet for a bakery in a big city! I bought a ham and mushroom quiche, and later I had to come back for the apricot dessert. Yum!!

Excellent pastries, quiche and chocolates. Seems to be frequented by locals and visitors alike. We went every morning while in Wengen- I think we tried a bit of everything and it was all delicious. The staff is very friendly as well. Definitely recommend this while in Wengen!
