Rental shop where you can’t rent equipment. I needed just bindings for my own board. Can’t have that, can only rent board with bindings. I have in the past rented just bindings from Intersport at other resorts in Switzerland, so it’s just this one. Any way to charge you more.
The staff is bit careless, overall ski experience was 5/5
We tried sledging for the first time here. The female stuff who helped us was amazing! She is very friendly and accommodating. If you are also here to try sledging, I would highly recommend renting the shoes as well, although they are a bit expensive (22CHF). They provide much better braking capability and comfort than ordinary waterproof shoes.
A very nice shop with all you need (got very good Corona mask for the slopes) and lovely owners. My ankle got badly injured and the owner gave some of her own painkillers to my husband as the phamarcy was already closed. That was so kind ans really saved me. Thank you so so much for your help!
It is a pity having a great service at Grindelwald Terminal but such a poor and rude one here…
What happened to me at this Intersport store is outrageous. I was at the Intersport in the Grindelwald terminal and was told it would be easier to rent the sled at the Männlichen station instead of the terminal. When I got to the top, I was told that rentals were only available until 3:00 PM. As a result, one person in my group couldn't sled down, and we essentially wasted our tickets at Männlichen. The salesperson, who was completely unreasonable, was named Chrigu. Unacceptable!
