Better good place very good service
Unfortunately, the information center for the Ascension Day was closed. We wanted to do the mule track and found the doors closed. I had to find an alternative activity with the children at short notice. What surprises me is that the information center is also normally closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Most tourists come on weekends or on holidays like the Ascension Day.
I am very happy that there is a small traditional event here on National Day.
The staff at the tourist office gave me incorrect information. I simply wanted to know if there was a train connection at the Aare Gorge East. Since I was traveling with a young dog, this was very important information for me. They said there was… However, the bridge to the Aare Gorge East train station was closed.
We were very touched by the excellent welcome and advice on local activities on July 25th, 26th, and 27th. We truly enjoyed our few days at your campsite (run by Anita and Bruno). Many thanks to your town. Régine and Pierre.
