A beautiful little ski area easily accessible by public transport (buses run hourly from Interlaken). The ascent on the lovely Garaventa ski lift is quick, and there are plenty of runs to choose from: between the long blue run ideal for carving, the varied red runs, and the magnificent black run, you'll have plenty to keep you entertained all day. Friendly staff and a stunning setting.
The ski lift is small but perfectly formed. You can drive right up to the base station and be on your skis in no time. The lift is quite long, and there are plenty of runs ranging from easy to challenging. There are tickets for almost every need: 2-hour to 5-hour passes, half-day and full-day tickets, tickets starting at 11:00 AM, and so on. So, if you want to squeeze in some skiing in the morning or early after work, Habkern is THE ski resort. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only downside is the occasional lack of snow. There's no artificial snow, but 100% natural snow when there is. There's also a ski lodge bar atmosphere and après-ski. Habkern comes highly recommended!
A very beautiful but refined ski resort
Very family-friendly. Extremely friendly staff. It's possible to rent a keycard by the hour, which is very practical with children. A friendly "have a good trip" is included on every ascent.
Ski lift with beautiful views and interesting slopes. At the valley station, there's a new beginner area with a state-of-the-art magic carpet, ski school, etc. Highly recommended!
