AEK BANK 1826 — Bernstrasse 306, 3627 Heimberg, Switzerland

I needed to exchange a large amount of large bills for smaller ones at short notice. Since Heimberg is closer than Thun (the main branch), I chose this branch. The service was very friendly and the exchange was straightforward. My usual bank is the Uetendorf branch, but I went to the Heimberg branch due to time constraints. I'll keep this branch in mind.

Good afternoon, AEK Bank team. I was a customer of yours for a long time. My mother always sends me money to my bank account, and sometimes my boyfriend does too. Then one day, AEK Bank called me and said I needed proof of where the money came from (because of money laundering). 1000 CHF was deposited. The bank gave me two days to provide proof, but since I'm busy, I needed four days. It was too late, and the bank blocked my account. I called, but as far as the bank is concerned, I'm already a criminal, and I'm no longer allowed to be an AEK Bank customer. This is completely over the top! I've never seen anything like this. They blocked me as a customer for such a small amount of money, but they still charged me the 40 CHF annual fee. So, what I'm trying to say is, it's incredibly unfair of you.

Poor service. I wanted to exchange an old 100-franc note. The clerk said they only do that if you have an account with them.
