Unfortunately, our experience with the Kreafeuer effect fire was not very positive. The unit smelled like a damp basement, and the siphon smelled like sewage, even though we cleaned the unit ourselves regularly. Kreafeuer recommended a thorough service, so I requested a quote. We received the quote and had the service performed. The technician informed me that there was mold inside the unit, which was the cause of the smell. This was somewhat problematic, as these mold spores would be released into the air when the unit was running, and this was not good for our health. He filled the siphon with water and then added a final layer of oil to prevent the water from evaporating too quickly. The cleaning was carried out cleanly and professionally. Unfortunately, the final bill was significantly higher than we had anticipated. We then used the effect fire more frequently to circulate the water and get it into the siphon. Unfortunately, the same problems reappeared after a short time. I then disassembled the fire feature for cleaning and noticed that one of the cover plates was heavily rusted. I reported this to Kreafeuer, including photos. They didn't find the rusty plate unusual and suggested I buy a new one if it bothered me. We're currently building another apartment, but we definitely won't be getting another fire feature from Kreafeuer. The cleaning effort is far too great, and Kreafeuer offers no goodwill gestures. I would also like to emphasize that the service technicians did a very good and professional job.
We had a very good experience with Kreafeuer; the consultation, ordering, and delivery were all fine. We've now completed our first service. The technician arrived on time and was very informative throughout the entire service. We were very satisfied with his meticulous work! The only thing that disappointed us a bit was that they no longer offer yellow bulbs, only orange, which we find a bit kitschy... Nevertheless, we can thoroughly recommend Kreafeuer.
We recently purchased a fireplace with a flame effect from Kreafeuer and had a consultation beforehand in their showroom. The consultation was excellent, and the fireplace is exactly as beautiful as we had imagined. The instructions during delivery were also fantastic, as they really took their time with us. While the products aren't cheap, you get exactly what you want. Thank you!
