When we moved into Rüti, we wanted to set up the internet connection but couldn't find the terminal block. So we quickly called the nearest electrician we found and explained the problem. When I got back from work that evening, my roommate told me that the electrician arrived with two people and a vehicle, and then spent over three hours trying to find the connection. When I called to inquire about the exorbitant bill, I was treated extremely rudely by the manager. He said, "You've done your job, the full amount will be paid or I'll take legal action; I think it's outrageous that you're even asking about it." Luckily, our housing association covered part of the several-hundred-franc bill. I've never experienced such poor customer service. The lesson here? Never choose the first electrician you find and don't be fooled by reviews of their staff. Always go with an electrician you trust.
