If you want to dine or have a drink aftet hiking in here, don’t count on it. Oscar should go to the hostess for rudeness and general neglect of the simple thing called hospitality. No cards accepted, okay, no bank wire accepted, okay, but why why euros are not accepted from customers ready to pay remains a mystery. No service, snobbish attitude, no nice review - fair play. Really nice place just on the opposite bank on the contrary will welcome you.

Super unfriendly host - as we couldn’t pay with card in 2024, we’ve proposed to pay in euro, but the lady behaved like she even don’t want to speak to us and ignored us and our questions. Awful atmosphere and service, better walk to another restaurant.

Wagitalersee is truly beautiful and this wonderful restaurant was our rest stop at the mid way pt. Had some delicious beers and hot chocolate before resuming our hike. Owner was really friendly too! A recommended pit stop if u are hiking around the lake!

I didn't get to try the food or service,because guess what? They don't accept card payment (or even twint). And this fact is displayed everywhere to make sure you don't even try. Good news though: for 2 CHF you can use their toilet. Not the friendliest restaurant in the area.

Only place in Switzerland where I could not pay with TWINT or credit card. Needed to use the toilet and luckily I had a 2chf coin otherwise they would not even let you use that. Very unfriendly and they don’t even care

Staff is very friendly with swiss people. We were the only one who did not receive neither food, neither a frienldy approach. Luckily there are enough places in Switzlerland where this is not a problem. :)
