I entrusted a failed hard drive for a data recovery attempt. Unfortunately, the restoration was unsuccessful, as the data was clearly irrecoverable. I didn't have a very good experience with them, and personally, I would recommend other companies. I was referred to this company after my hard drive crashed; the read/write heads could no longer read the data. They provided an estimated quote of CHF 2,600 (spare parts to be ordered separately if needed), which I obviously accepted to recover my important data. Despite a well-designed intranet system for tracking the recovery process, I had to constantly contact them to find out the status. The hard drive was sent to them in September, and the final repair was completed in December. Three months to wait for a verdict, only to be told in the end that it was impossible or unlikely. I still had to pay CHF 790 for the spare parts ordered for their second attempt, plus the return postage to get my damaged hard drive back. A bit excessive. Furthermore, I received a rather rude service throughout all my interactions. This hard drive contains all my artwork, and the employee kindly told me I was only good for framing it and putting it in an exhibition. We love that kind of comment... I went to another computer technician, and thank goodness! He was able to recover 85% of my data for €1,290.00. More than half the price for a real result! He's a very helpful, honest, and transparent person who goes the extra mile to find solutions. Just so you know...

The data from an end customer's damaged and unreadable NAS system was fully recovered. A very good information system via the extranet, where the current status of the data recovery is visible at any time, even for the end customer. The terms and conditions are clearly defined in the cost estimate. Compared to foreign laboratories, the case was handled very quickly and communication was excellent. Of course, data recovery isn't necessarily cheap in retrospect, but data always has a relative value, and regular data backups "at the right time" are still the cheapest and best option...
