A1 Grauholz Restaurant Süd — Wolfackerweg 7/A1, 3063 Ittigen, Switzerland

We were driving from Zürich to Leukerbad (about 3.5 hours) and we were positively surprised to find such good food at a restaurant on the highway. They have an asian station with rice noodles/rice and various meat / vegetarian toppings (chicken curry, shrimp curry, vegetables curry, etc). You also have the option to add spices (chilly paste, soy sauce, cocos flakes) to make it more flavored. Good price quality ratio, quite cheap for Switzerland I would say given that you get to decide how big of a portion you want.

We tried the Asian buffet and were really disappointed. The food tasted poor, the service felt unfriendly, and we ended up leaving our meals. What surprised us most was that the restroom costs extra to use. Definitely not worth it.

Very nice place to stop for dinner with kids. They have good child seats and a little play garden. The fountain was also very attractive to our toddler. Kind staff and reasonable food, but the prices are steep.

Good restaurant along the highway for coffee, snacks etc. It has also a hotel, lots of parking space, multi EV fast chargers and there even is a specisl walking space for dogs

We sat down with a couple of children (aged below 2) to feed them with our own food. Quickly, a waitress came by and warned us not to do that, and leave within half an hour. Not so friendly, as the restaurant itself did not even sell baby food at all. Still, the food assortiment was decent, prices were very good, and within 1 hour we were gone.
